Spay/neuter efforts
Our leading priority: working toward greater access to spay/neuter assistance for owned dogs and cats in Bandera County, with a focus on preventing unplanned litters and reducing shelter intake.
Spay. Neuter. Educate.
Spay/neuter efforts and education lead our mission. We’re working toward a future with fewer unplanned litters and fewer animals entering shelters—starting here in Bandera County.

Education in action
Our fair booth brings spay/neuter education directly to families and neighbors. Through conversation and educational displays, we share our mission: preventing unplanned litters and helping build a brighter future for dogs and cats.

Helping pet owners understand the importance of spay/neuter, explore care options, and find reliable information. We believe an informed community is essential to lasting change.
Alongside our prevention work, we support shelter dogs as they move toward rescue placement and homes through relationships with people and organizations who care.
Fire Plug Freeway complements our mission by helping dogs already in shelters reach rescue opportunities beyond Texas.
